| 5-Feb-1999 The Confirmation Paper,
written by Dale Goudie and Jim Klotz of CUFON, and issued in 1992, has been withdrawn for
review since we became aware of a posting to the Project-1947 Email List today by
Brad Sparks challenging much of the material in the paper. We appreciate the opportunity to review the material in the paper for possible updating that Mr. Sparks' comments affords us. Our goal continues to be to make verified material available. If we are shown that we were in error, we will gladly own up to it and make appropriate changes, or withdraw the paper completely if necessary. We do wish that Mr. Sparks had chosen to give us the benefit of his research directly rather than to lambaste us in a public forum on a paper which has been available for 7 years.
