ENLISTED SERVICE NUMBERS ASSIGNED TO
THE NATIONAL GUARD
During 1940 and 1941 the National
Guard units were called to active duty. Service numbers allocated
to these personnel range from 20,000,000 to 20,999,999. There is
no known break out of these numbers by state. The only known break
out was by the Army Corps which were in effect at the time. These
were identified by the third number of the service number (2,070,000 indicated
the seventh Corps).
